Well, I was just really sick this week. It sucked. My comp can I had stomach problems the whole week, and pretty much nothing much was accomplished ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It was still a good week though because we had 2 more baptisms. We were supposed to have 3, but we found out that the dad of the family committed a big crime 5 years back, and he couldn't be baptized this week sadly. He felt super guilty, and he told us that we were the only people who had ever know. He made a mistake, and we made sure that he knew he could still be forgiven in time. Slowly, but surely his soul can be mended new again.
This is going to be a short letter this week but I just want to tell you guys how lucky we are as human beings and children of God to be able to fall, fall and fall again, make a million mistakes, mess up really badly, and still be forgiven. We are in no way perfect, and God knows that. Does he love us less? No. The exact opposite, he loves us more. He sent his son, Jesus Christ to this Earth for us, to teach us, suffer for us, and eventually take his place on the cross for us. Then only 3 days latter, he would rise, for that every one of us may rise up as well. We can RISE. Literally, and figuratively, we may pick ourselves up and make a change in our lives, which is what repentance is. That's why I'm in Honduras, to help people make the necessary CHANGE in their lives and to come unto Christ, which I have found is the only true and real way to find happiness in this life. I have seen it in others, and more importantly I have seen it in myself. I love each and every one of you that this litter enters into your inbox, even the unread ones ;) You are loved
